As requested by your letter dated December 28, 2020, enclosed is Certificate of Compliance No. 9223 (USA/9233/B(U)-96), Revision No. 18, for the Model No. TN-RAM package. Changes made to the enclosed certificate are indicated by vertical lines in the margin. The staffs Safety Evaluation Report is also enclosed.
TN Americas LLC is registered as the certificate holder for this package. This approval constitutes authority to use the package for shipment of radioactive material and for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR 173.471).

SUMMARY
By letter dated December 28, 2020 (ADAMS Accession Number: ML20363A026), TN Americas LLC (certificate holder) requested renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 9233 for the Model No. TN-RAM package. The certificate holder did not request any changes to the package design, operating procedures, acceptance tests, or maintenance program of the package. The certificate has been renewed for an additional five years.
EVALUATION By letter dated December 28, 2020, TN Americas LLC requested renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 9233 for the Model No. TN-RAM package without changes to the package design, operating procedures, acceptance tests, and maintenance program of the package.
The certificate holder has an NRC-approved quality assurance program.
CONDITIONS The following changes have been made to the Certificate:
Condition No. 10 was modified to extend the validity of the previous certificate by approximately one year.
Condition No. 11 shows the new expiration date of the certificate of January 31, 2026.
CONCLUSION The certificate has been renewed for a five-year term. These changes do not affect the ability of the package to meet the requirements of 10 CFR Part 71.
