Dear Mr. Hanson:

This refers to an investigation conducted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)

Office of Investigations (OI) to determine whether licensee security personnel at LaSalle County Station deliberately failed to maintain records of post turnover verifications that were complete and accurate in all material respects. Based on the evidence developed during the investigation, we did not substantiate the allegation. The synopsis from the OI Report of Investigation is enclosed.

Case No. 3-2019-006 Enclosure OI Synopsis This investigation was initiated on May 7, 2019, by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Office of Investigations, Region III, to determine whether licensee security personnel at Exelon Nuclears LaSalle Nuclear Generating Station (LaSalle) in Marseilles, Illinois deliberately failed to maintain records of post turnover verifications that were complete and accurate in all material respects.
