Summary of Conference Call Between NRC and Centrus/ACO to Discuss FNMCP RAI Responses Date: Wednesday, November 11, 2020 2:39:00 PM
- Damaris, On November 3, 2020, NRC staff held a closed conference call with American Centrifuge Operating (ACO) and its contractor, Paschal Solutions, to discuss ACOs responses dated October 14, 2020 (ADAMS Accession No. ML20301A436), to NRCs requests for additional information (RAIs) regarding the American Centrifuge Plant High Assay Low Enriched Uranium Demonstration Programs Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan (FNMCP),
which the NRC had provided ACO via letter dated September 11, 2020 (ADAMS Accession No. ML20245E173). The participants of the call were as follows:
ACO Kelly (Wiehle) Fitch Paschal Solutions, Contractors to ACO Sheena Whaley Pearline Teeters Steve Harris NRC Suzanne Ani Glenn Tuttle During the call, NRC staff requested ACO to clarify four of its RAI responses, which they did. ACO staff indicated that they will draft revised responses and the associated revisions of the FNMCP to address issues identified by NRC staff during the call. ACO also stated they will request a future call with NRC staff to discuss its draft revisions prior to submittal.
