- Hello, We are opposed to the proposal by Interim Storage Partners for transport and storage of highly radioactive waste in Texas, 0.37 miles from the New Mexico state line.
Risking the safety of people near the transport routes is unacceptable and placing the waste at consolidated interim sites where the low-income and people of color live is inexcusable.
This is ENVIRONMENTAL INJUSTICE targeting majority Latinx communities already heavily burdened with nuclear and fossil fuel pollution.
Thank you for weighing the burden of this crime against humanity.
You can be better and more responsible citizens of America.
