Notification of Environmental Government Agency On October 23, 2020, at 0750 EDT, a live healthy giant manta ray was captured and released unharmed from the plant's intake canal. This is the first giant manta ray captured from the canal.
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) was notified on October 27, 2020, at 1208 EDT. This nonemergency notification is being made pursuant to 10 CFR 50.72(b)(2)(xi) due to the notification of the NMFS.
Notified the R2DO (Miller) and endangered species group (via email).
