To discuss the technical merits of Licensing Topical Report (LTR) NEDC-33912P, BWRX-300 Reactivity Control (ADAMS Accession number ML20092A030) and pre-application matters related to construction permitting of the GEH BWRX-300 power reactor design.
Summary of Meeting:
The meeting started with a brief introduction by NRC licensing project manager (PM) Rani Franovich, who explained the purpose of the meeting (specifically to discuss the reliability measures referenced in the topical report), asked participants to introduce themselves and described how the meeting would be conducted (including discussion of proprietary information on a separate, closed bridge-line).
Because the discussions involved proprietary information, the public portion of the meeting adjourned and detailed discussions of the LTR were resumed on the closed bridge-line.
After these closed discussions, the meeting was adjourned.
