Why would we, as Texans, want radioactive waste being stored in Texas from 44 other states in the United States? I understand we create our own radioactive waste in Texas. We need to store our own waste safely here in Texas, but I see no obligation to store everyone elses waste. Its outrageous that anyone would be willing to bring all of that here. Im sure very few Texans are aware that this is even being proposed. I would imagine that the waste management company in Andrews will benefit greatly financially from this, but its putting all of our citizens of Texas at risk. How can this company be allowed to do this without the public being 100% aware? I found out about this by accident And thank God I did! I will be sharing this information, and I pray that the citizens of Texas and the governor of Texas will strongly oppose this recommendation to keep our state safe.
