September 17, 2020 TO: U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION LICENSEES THAT RECEIVED SECURITY ADVISORY (SA) 2020-08, OR SA 2020-09
SUBJECT:
RETRACTION OF SA 2020-08, AND SA 2020-09, NATIONAL SPECIAL SECURITY EVENT FOR THE 75TH UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY, DATED SEPTEMBER 9, 2020 The Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has rescinded the national special security event designation for the 75th United Nations General Assembly that is scheduled during September 20 - 26, 2020, in New York City, NY. Therefore, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is retracting SA 2020-08, and SA 2020-09, both of which are titled National Special Security Event for the 75th United Nations General Assembly.
Recipients are reminded the security advisories contain sensitive information and should be destroyed using a method that will ensure that information is not inadvertently released to the public.
