pumpsandcontinuetomeettheN+1concept.



RAI0202statesinpart:

AsdiscussedinAPPGWGLR170,theprimarystrategyfortheoffsitereplacementgeneratorsistoreplacethe

permanentlyinstalledancillarydieselgenerators.Therefore,thesamenominalgeneratorratingisselectedfor

theoffsitereplacementgeneratorsasforthepermanentlyinstalledancillarydieselgenerators(80kW,480V).

The alternate strategy, as described in APPGWGLR170 Section 9b, requires less power than the primary

strategybecausethePCSrecirculationpumps,andtheoffsiteportablepumpswouldnotbepoweredfromthe

offsiteportablegeneratorinthisalternateconfiguration.Therefore,thenominalratingof80kW/480Vis

consideredboundingfortheprimaryandalternateFLEXstrategies.

equipment that are expected to survive all hazards, justification that the permanently installed nonsafety

arenobuildingsinthetravelpaththatwouldadverselyaffecttransportation.Extremecold

Units1&2haveamoreurgentrequirementforusingthehaulpathstostageFLEXequipment.However,
