I would like to thank you and the Massachusetts Radiation Control Program for your time and participation as a lecturer at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) virtual 2020 Sealed Source and Device Evaluation Workshop, held August 5 - August 13, 2020. As you know, the NRC schedules this workshop periodically to provide training to Agreement State and NRC staff on performing safety evaluations of sealed sources and devices for compliance with the regulatory requirements. In this years workshop, we had 35 participants from 15 Agreement States and the NRC.
The lectures you provided were clear and detailed, and they provided the participants a good perspective on the sealed source and device evaluation process and requirements. As part of your lectures, you provided great examples and stories based on personal experience that greatly enhanced the value of the lectures giving the participants a higher degree of understanding on the topics discussed. We received highly positive feedback from the participants regarding the workshop. Your participation greatly contributed to the success of this workshop.
