The information presented is as initially received without verification or evaluation and-is basically all that is known by IE staff on this date.

Subject:
ELECTRICAL FIRE AT CONSTRUCTION SITE On November 17, 1976, a short circuit in a Motor Control Center located in the Auxiliary Building injured two electricians working in the area.
The workmen were removed to a hospital from the site by ambulance. The extent of injuries has not been established.
The fire resulting from the short was extinguished after deenergizing the breaker by construction forces. No other damage was reported.
Media interest is expected because of interest in nuclear'pla'nts. The ge '
