NUCLEAR TEST BOMB EXPLOSION ERDA has informed the NRC at 1:15 P.M., 11-17-76, that the People's Republic of China has exploded a four megaton nuclear test bomb at 1:00 a.m. EST on 11-17-76.
No trajectory or arrival times of fallout have been predicted.
ERDA will be issuing a press release this P.M.
NRC Regional Offices have been notified.
Notification of licensees is not planned until the trajectory or the arrival times of the fall-
