ADJUDL.6 ce h June 23,1998 Administrative Judges G. Paul Bollwerk, Jerry R. Kline and Peter S. Lam Atomic Safety and Licensing Board U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington,DC 20555 re: In the Matter of Private Fuel Storace LLC. Docket No. 72-22. ASLBP No. 97-732-02-ISFSI State's General Preference for Filine Simultaneous Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law
DearJudges Bollwerk,
Kline and Lam:
During the June 17,1998, Prehearing Conference, Chairman Bollwerk requested me to to advise the Board whether the State would generally prefer to file simultaneous findings and conclusions at the same time as the Applicant, the Staff and other parties, together with simultaneous responses by all panies, or whether the State would prefer sequence filings with the Applicant filing the initial findings and conclusion and the Staff and other parties filing a I
response.
i On reflection, the State believes that its findings and conclusions will be comprehensive and as a general matter elects the more efficient and preferable procedure that all parties file simultaneous findings and conclusions follow ed by simultaneous responses.
