ALLEGED FALSIFICATION OF ELECTRICAL RECORDS OF A SUB-CONTRACTOR (FISHBACH AND MOORE)
A reporter from the Cleveland Plain Dealer, telephoned Region III

(Chicago) on April 23, 1976, to inform Region III that he had received l
allegations in connection with the Davis-Besse Unit No. I facility.
s The allegations were made by three former employees of Fishbach and Moore, an electrical subcontractor at the Davis-Besse Unit No. I facility, and concern the falsification of records for safety-related electrical work. The records alleged to have been falsified included cable pull cards, inspection reports and nonconformance reports. Some portions of the allegations were apparently discussed during State of Ohio Bureau of Employment Hearings held during January'and April, 1976 and are a matter of public record.
Region III will be contacting the allegers to determine specific j
information concerning the allegations.
The reporter stated that an item will appear in the Cleveland Plain Dealer regarding this allegation about mid-week (April 28,1976). No press release has been made by the licensee or is planned by NRC.
