SUBJECT:
BOMB THREAT At 8:5E a.m., March 23, 1977, a bomb threat was received in the Unit 2 construction switchboard from a female caller. The caller stated "I'll be out to blow the place up in about 45 minutes."
The licensee increased security measures by posting additional guards and by increasing the perimeter patrols. The local Sheriff was notified.
The licensee was able to trace the call and has turned over to the local Sheriff and Prosecutor the name and address of the individual to whom the telephone is listed.
Media interest is not expected and the licensee does not plan to issue a d
press release.
7 Region IV received notification of this occurrence by telephone from the ANO Plant Superintendent at 10:35 a.m. on March 23, 1977.
The IAT was notified on 3/23/77.
