Subject:
BOMB THREAT At 0850 June 1, 1977 a Region V inspector on site called to indicate that a bomb threat had been received. The particulars derived from subsequent conversations with the licensee project manager at 0855 and 1110 are as foilows.
At 0710 hours0.00822 days <br />0.197 hours <br />0.00117 weeks <br />2.70155e-4 months <br /> June 1, 1977 an unknown male called the WNP Unit,Nos. 1 and 4 construction area and stated that three bombs had been placed at the facility and were set to explode between 1100 and 1500 the same day. The same individual called again about 0715 and repeated the threat. The local radio station received the same threat (against WNP Unit Nos. I and 4) at about the same time and in turn notified WPPSS and indicated their intent not to air. A search conducted by Hanford Reservation Security (provides security for' site) as of 1100 had turned i
up no suspicious items. No evacuation is planned.

The licensee has notified the local law enforcement agency (County police).
The Seattle FBI office was notified by Region V at 1145.

The IAT was notified.
l As it is in the initial stages of construction, no fuel is aboard the site.
