Subject:
BOMB THREAT On June 12, 1978, at approximately 5:00 p.m. (PST) the General Electric Company telephone operator in San Jose received a telephone bomb th_reat.
The caller, a young female, indicated that bombs had been placed at three GE facilities, including the Vallecitos Nuclear Center.
The caller also said that the bombs were set to explode at 12:00 noon June 13, 1978.
No demand or reason was given.
The licensee conducted a search with negative results.
No evacuation or site announcement was made.
No news coverage is anticipated.
