The information presented is as initially receired without verification or evaluation and is basically I all that is known by IE staff as of this date.

BOMB THREAT On June 12, 1978, at approximately 5:00 p.m. (PST) the General Electric Company telephone operator in San Jose received a telephone bomb th_reat.
The caller, a young female, indicated that bombs had been placed at three GE facilities, including the Vallecitos Nuclear Center. The caller also said that the bombs were set to explode at 12:00 noon June 13, 1978.
No demand or reason was given.
The licensee conducted a search with negative results.
No evacuation or site announcement was made. No news coverage is anticipated. fI The LLEA, the FBI and State of California have been notified.
The IAT has been notified.
