On May 6,1998 the NRC issued Administrative Letter 98-03, Operating Reactor Licensing Action Estimates," which requested that addressees submit information pertaining to estimates of the number oflicensing actions that will be submitted for NRC's review for the remainder of 1998 and the upcoming fiscal year of 1999. In accordance with your request, Southern Nuclear Operating Company estimates that five l
(5) submittals will be made during the remainder of FY 1998. Currently there are no O
submittals scheduled to be made during FY 1999. It is not anticipated that any of the scheduled ' ubmittals will potentially generate a complex review.
