Dear Mr. Whatley:
We have reviewed the final Alabama regulations adopted March 18,1998. The regulations were reviewed by comparison to the equivalent NRC regulations in 10 CFR Part 20, 30, 32, and
- 36. In addition, we reviewed the Alabama final rule in Chapter 420-3-26.07(15), adopted by Alabama effective December 18,1996. This rule was reviewed in comparison to 10 CFR 35.32.'
As a result of the NRC review, we have determined that the Alabama regulations, as adopted, meet the compatibility and health and safety categories estE.blished in OSP Internal Procedure B.7.
