REPLY TO NOTICE OF NONCONFORMANCE
Dear Mr. McGimpsey:
Thank you for your letter dated February 10,1998, which included an update to the October 22,1997, NUS Instruments, Inc., (NUSl) response to the Notice of Nonconformance that was issued by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on September 26,1997, as a result of an NRC inspection of NUSl (Inspection Report 99901320/97-01).
We have reviewed your reply and found it responsive to the concerns raised in the Notice of Nonconformance. We will review the implementation of your corrective actions during a future inspection to determine that full compliance has been achieved and will be maintained.
1 In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
