Q Dear Sir; NRC regulation 10 CFR 50.54(p) describes how licensees can revise security guard training and qualification plans. In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p), the plans may be revised without prior approval if the changes do not decrease the effectiveness of the p:an. The Authority has revised the Indian Point 3 Security Force Tra!ning and Qualification Plan The revisions were evaluated and determined not to decrea safeguards effectiveness of the plan. The Authority is submitting, as Enclosure I, the revisions to the plan as required by 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2) and 10 CFR 50.4(b)(4). contains a matrix describing the changes incorporated, and Security Force Training and Qualification Plan Revision 7. which includes a
- Summary of Changes" on page 2. The plan was revised to clarify the Task and Duty Summary and to make editorial corrections.
Please review to verify receipt of the revised plan and sign and retum the receipt acknowledgment form provided in Enclosure 11. The Authority is making no new commitment in this submittal.
