OMSAJ-98-001/COMEXM-98-001-ANNUAL FEES FOR STORAGE OF SPENT FUEL This is to inform you that the Commission has concurred in your proposal regarding NRC policy on annual fees for interim on-site storage of spent fuel and to provide additional g.:idance to the staff in preparing the fee rule (Part 171). This guidance directs the staff to amend the fee rule to give equivalent fee treatment to either of the licensee's choices for wet or dry fuel storage.

The attached SRM provides staff direction on this issue.

This completes action on COMSAJ-98-001/COMEXM-98-001.
