Dear Mr. Miller:
This letter refers to the United States Enrichment Corporation's (USEC's) response, dated
April 6,1998, providing the additional information requested by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory
Commission on March 5,1998. NRC issued this request after reviewing USEC's response,
dated January 23,1998, to the Notice of Violation identified in NRC Inspection Report No. 999-
1322/97-01; 71-0832/ 97-214, dated December 3,1997.
The corrective actions which have been, or will be, taken regarding Noncompliance E.4 and
K.2 appear acceptable, and no additional information is requested.
The corrective actions taken ano ihe implementation of your quality assurance program will be
reviewed in future inspections of your transportation activities.
