Dr. Shirley Ann Jackson l!

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D.C. 2055y-0001

Dear Dr. Jackson:

)

i We want you to know of the concerns of Long Islanders about the restart of Millstone. Millstone is only 12 miles from the Eastern end of Long Island. There is no evacuation plan and none is really possible b'ecause there is only one road out of the area.

We are enclosing ar3 article from the East flampton newspaper that summarizes the concern of Long Islanders.

i We urge you not to; restart Millstone!

l Sincerely, I

y
