Dear Mr. MacDonald:
Nuclear Assurance Corporation requests the timely renewal of the Certificate of Compliance No. 9183 for the NAC-1/NFS-4 spent fuel shipping cask.
The current revision number for this Certificate, No. 7, was issued on JarJary 4, 1989, and expires September 30, 1989. This cask is licensed for the shipment' of metallic research reactor-fuel and irradiated hardware.
All changes to the Safety Analysis Report since the last license renewal have been made as permanent amendments with change pages, so the SAR is up to date. A check for $150.00 is enclosed in conformance with 10CFR170.31 4
