July 9,1998, two identical sessions First session: Convenes at 2:00 pm and will continue until 5:00 pm.
Second session: Convenes at 7:00 pm and will continue until 10:00 pm.

Holiday Inn Select Solomons 155 Holiday Drive Solomons, Maryland 20688 PURPOSE:
Conduct the scoping process as outlined in 10 CFR Part 51 for an environmentalimpact statement to be prepared in support of the review of the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company license renewal application for the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2. See attached draft agenda.
Members of the public who wish to attend the environmental scoping meeting or who wish to register to present oral comments at the environmental scoping meeting should contact Ms. Claudia Craig (NRC) at 1-800-368-5642, extension 1053, or by Internet at cceis@nrc. gov by July 2,1998. Members of the public who wish to present oral comments at the meeting may also register within 15 minutes of the start of the session. Individual oral comments may be limited by the time available, depending on the number of persons who register.
