On December 7,1988, TU Electric notified you Mr. S. P. Burris of a deficiency on valve IHV-4514 in the Component Cooling Water (CCW) system involving a flange misalignment. Our latest report on this deficiency is logged by TXX-88871, dated January 6, 1989.

This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisicr# of10CFR50.55(e).

Our evaluation of this condition is continuing. The next report.on this issue will.be submitted no later than July 10., 1989.
