Dear Dr. Bergeron:
This is a task order under " Task 9: Short-Tenn Technical Assistance for Uranium Recovery" of our contract " Performance Assessment for Low-Level Waste"(FinB2485,BR-50-1904-01}. We request that a hydrogeologist on your staff review the hydrogeological aspects of the Green River Remedial Action Plan (RAP). We expect that DOE will submit the RAP to NRC sometime in October.
If possible, we would like Tim Jones to be the reviewer. Tim Jones' contact for technical DOE.related concerns is Ted Johnson (FTS 492-3440).
Under separate cover we have sent to you the following background materials:
(1) The last version of the Green River RAP (those portions related to hydrogeology).
(2) The draft TER prepared by NRC with the Weber revision incorporating NRC-DOE agreements.
(3) The April,1989 agreenents signed by NRC and DOE.
You have already received DOE's August 31, 1989 data package.
Please provide cost information for this task order and other task orders in your monthly reports.
I have enclosed a sample chart that shows the type of cost information we need.
The action taken by this letter is considered to be within the scope of the
-current agreement with NRC. No changes to cost or delivery of specified services and products are authorized. Please notify me imediately if you believe that' this letter would result in changes to cost or delivery of products.
