SUBJECT:

SEALED SOURCE AND DEVICE REGISTRY SYSTEM As of October 1,1997, the NRC has closed all of its bulletin board systems on Fed World. Unfortunately, the Sealed Source and Device Registry was one of them. We are presently working with the Office of Information Resources Management (IRM) to have this information placed on the Internet. The Materials Safety Branch felt that it was important for you to continue to receive this information. Therefore, we are providing you with the SSD Registry System (diskette attached) and complete instructions on how to load the system onto your computer. Please remember that this system only shows the information that is contained on the first page of the registration certificate. Updates of the system will be sent to you quarterly. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (301) 415-8140.
