Temporary Change to the Security Plan, Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, Units I and II
Dear Mr. Russell:
On February 14, 1989, the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company transmitted a request for an extension of the approved temporary change to the Security Plan. This change was to accommodate the installation of a new security computer system. This letter is to request an additional extension since the project may not be completed until December,1989.
The project is approximately 97% complete. - All equipment and project enhancements are on-site. Due to a minor expansion of the project scope and the extension of the current outage, the appropriate labor forces are not available to complete the project as originally projected for September, 1989.
An extension of the temporary change to December 31, 1989, should be sufficient to complete the installation. My staff and I are at your disposal should you have any questions.
