In accordance with instructions contained in Reference (1) and Technical Specification Amendments contained in ' deference (2), we are submitting information concerning operability and availability of the La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor (LACBWR) for the Month of August.

The La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor was permanently shut down on April 30, 1987. All cumulative operability data has been fixed at the end of April 1987, since that was the termination of plant operation.

The La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor was permanently shut down on f April 30, 1987. Defueling of the reactor was completed June 11, 1987.

During the month of August, no safety-related maintenance was performed.

. A Type B leakage test was performed on the Personnel Airlock with satisfactory results. The leakage rate m2asured during the airlock test completed on August 14, 1989 was 1.502 SCFH.
