Dear Ms. Vacca:

Thank you for your letter of March 2.

In regard to your l

questions, I can assure you that the physicians who are involved with the Cordis pacemaker will examine each l

patient at least every six months and will determine that each patient is carrying an I.D.,

donor card, and wearing the required bracelet or other approved jewelry.

The answer to the other question, as posed to the Chief of Medical Staff, would indicate that at this time no additional physicians are to be designated.

We are aware, however, that when additional physicians are designated that the U.S.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission is to be provided the name, training, and experience of each new physician.

Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention.

Sincerely yours, Age E hm J
