APPROVAL RECORD Model No. SNAP-21 Package Certificate of Compliance No. 5830 Revision No. 7

)

By application dated April 16,1998, the Department of the Navy requested that the certificate holder for Certificate of Compliance No. 5830 for the Model No. SNAP-21 package be changed from Naval Support Force, Antartica to Naval Sea Systems Command Detachment, Radiological Affairs Support Office (NAVSEADET RASO). The Department of Navy stated that the NAVSEADET RASO has taken possession of Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators (RTGs) and all the existing documentation referenced in the certificate of compliance from Naval Support Force, Antarctica.

The Certificate of Compliance has been reissued to show NAVSEADET RASO as certificate holder. These changes do not affect the ability of the package to meet the requirements of 10 CFR Part 71.
