PERRY DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATION TEAM REPORT Enclosed for your information is a copy of the AEOD Diagnostic Evaluation Team Report for the Purry Nuclear Power Plant.
This evaluation was initiated following discussions held during the NRC Senior Managers meeting in December 1988.
The need for a diagnostic evaluation was based on questions related to the underlying causes of performance trends at Perry. The report documents the team's findings and conclusions, and includes a discussion of licensee strengths and weaknesses.
Followup staff actions which have resulted from the Perry diagnostic evaluation have already been forwarded to the appropriate NRC Regional or Headquarters offices.
