Dear Inspector:
I have been requested by John C. Marous, Chairman of the Board and' Chief Executive Officer of Westinghouse Electric j
Corporation, to reply to correspondence from~ Victor Stello, j
NRC's Executive Director for Operations.
Mr. Stello requested that Westinghouse examine various types of agreements, in order to ascertain whether any of taem contain clauses which restrict
)
employees from contacting'the NRC with concerns about potential l
safety hazards.
l l
Westinghouse ha' conducted that review and has determined that no such restrictive clauses are present in any of our settlements, labor agreements or other agreements affecting j
compensation terms, conditions and privileges of employment.
1 Further, Westinghouse will continue its commitment to nuclear safety and its recognition of the'importance of potential nuclear safety concerns reported by employees.
Verv truly yours,
