2. nrmnittee's obiectives. =<= of activities and duties are as follows:

The Ocnnittee provides advice, as requested by the Director, Division of Industrial and Medical Nuclear Safety, Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards, with respect to the development of starriards and criteria for regulatirq and licensing uses of radionuclides in human subjects.

The appointed Chairman of the Ocunittee will conduct any meetirgs and will write a report whicts will sumarize each meeting. The report will include alternatives and the Comnittee's rm-1 ardations for future actions. Subocxmittees may be convened to address specific problems when it is not r-ce'( for the full Ocnnittee to be present. The Ocunittee also provides advice and consultation, for irxiividual applications, on user qualifications and the human use of radiation sources.
