Revision 2 of the subject PSI Progran was submitted for NRC review as the Enclosure to Reference 1.
Additional.information was requested by the NetC staff per Reference 2.
The requested information regarding ASME Code Cases included in the Unit 2 PSI Program is proviaed in the attachment.
Also, our ittter of January 3,1909 Indicated that the Inservice Inspection (ISI) Plan was scheduled to be submitted within one year of I
the issuance of the low power operating 'Icense (OL). The NRC Staff has indicated that the current practice is to require ISI Plan submittal within six months of receipt of an OL.
Philadelphia Electric Company will comply with this current practice.

ATTACHMENT Limerick Generating Station, Unit 2 Preservice Inspection Progran Use of ASME Code Cases With NRC approval, Section 1.10 of the Limerick Unit 2 PSI Progran, Specification 8031-P-504, will be revised in accordance with the following discussion of ASME Code Cases.
Code Cases N307 P^ vised Ultrasonic Examination Volume for Class 1 Bolting, Table IWB-2500-1, Examination Category B-G-1.

Section XI, Division 1 l
Revision 1 of Code Case N307 has been approved by the NRC staff per Regulatory Guide 1.147, Rev. 6.
PECo will revise Specification 8031-P-504 to use l
the Code Case revision approved by the NRC staff.
N322 Examination Requirements for Integrally Welded or Forged Attachments to Class 1 Piping at Containment Penetrations l
Section XI, Division 1 Code Case N322 will be deleted from Specifier?lcn 8031-P-504. This Code Case was not used dur iag the Llacrick Unit 2 preservice Inspection.
N356 Certification Period for Level III NDE Personnel Section XI, Division 1, 2, and 3 Code Case N356 extends the certification period for Level III NDE personnel to five years. This Code Case modifles the requirements of ASME Section XI, IWA-2300 to pennit certification periods allowed by Recommended Practice No.

N460 Alternative Examination Coverage for Class 1 and Class ? Welds Code Case N460 considers Code examination coverage to have been achieved if a reduction in coverage due to an interference is less than 10%. An acceptable level of quality and safety is provided when the Code exan.Ination coverage is greater then 90%.
