Management Meeting Arrangements We look forward to meeting with you and members of your staff at our facility on August 1, 1989.
Effective July 31, 1989, I will no longer have operational responsibility for the Nuclear Fuel &
Components Manufacturing (NF&CM) facility, however, I will attend and participate in the planned meeting.
Mr. Wayne Lewis, the new NF&CM facility manager, will also attend the meeting concerning the findings of the ALARA inspection.
We will plan to address the issues relating to the apparent violations as we understand them at this time.
our plans may not cover all aspects of your concerns since we have not received the NRC report for the ALARA inspection, however, we plan a comprehensive review of our systems and performance which factors in both our knowledge and the detailed inputs from your staff's assessment.
I have always found that a two-way free-flow of infor. cation betweer. our facility and the NRC has been helpful in augmenting our programs for compliance and the protection of the public.
I am sure that Mr. Lewis will want to continue this principle.
