BEAVER VALLEY POWER STATION - RESPONSE TO BULLETIN 88-09, THIMBLE TUBE THINNING (TAC 72644,72645)
By letter dated November 7,1988 and April 24, 1989, Duquesne Light Company (the licensee) responded to Bulletin 88-09.
In its response, the licensee confirmed that activities required to address the issues have been performed for Unit 2 during its first refueling outage, and for Unit 1 during its sixth refueling outage. The licensee also committed to perfore future inspections in accordance with new information received from the Westinghouse Owners Group and plant specific data gathered during previous inspections.
By copy of this memorandum, Region I is advised of the licensee's position on this matter. The date of this memorandum is considered the closecut date for the TAC numbers.
