(a) Letter from Mr. J. A. Tiernan (BG&E) to NRC Document Control Desk dated January 6,1989, Same Subject Gentlemen:
Reference - (a) ' provided our first response 'to Generic Le' tter 88-11. In that response ~ we stated that we planned to ' submit a license amendmen.t request and plant-specific LTOP analysis to the NRC by the end of May 1989. Due to' significant-schedule delays, we will-be unable to forward those items as planned.
sWe have revised our schedule' and we now plan to provide the-license amendment request
~
and' LTOP. analysis-no later than' October 27, 1989. This extension is. conservative, yet realistic. We believe this delay. will still provide adequate time for the NRC. staff to conducto the appropriate reviews required by Generic Letter 88-11.
