This letter responds to your Reference 1 request, to review and certify the Final Draft version of 6e Limerick Unit 2 Technical Specifications, transmitted therewith.
The Limerick Unit 2 Technical Specifications were based on the
. Limerick Unit 1 Technical Specifications' and were developed through an
. integrated program Involving doctmented, multi-discipline reviews by Philadelphia Electric. Company, Bechtel Power Corporation, General Electric Conpany personnel, and the NRC Staff. Our review of the Final Draft has identified the need to make certain minor administrative changes.
to the Final Draft Technical Specifications. Each of these changes and their Justifications has been discussed with Mr. Carl S. Schulten of your Technical Specification Coordination Branch, and we understand that they will be incorporated into the Technical Specifications as a result of these discussions. The one neJor change that is required to be nede to the Final Draft for certification is the incorporation of the. changes to the Standby Liquid Control system Technical Specifications, as described in the Linerick Unit I change request (Reference 2).
A narkup of the Linerick Unit 2 Technical Specifications with these changes has been provided to Mr. Schulten and again, we understand that they will be incorporated into the Technical Specifications.
Based upon the foregoing and in response to your request, I hereby certify that, to the best of my knowledge the Final Draft Linerick Unit 2 Technical Specifications as revised and described above accurately reflect the as-built construction of Unit 2 and the design described in the Final Safety Analysis Report. An affidavit relating to this certification accompanies this letter.
