Dear Mr. Eder:

This ic 'n response to your letter dated December 7,1988, in which you appealed Mr. Donnie H. Grimsley's responses dated November 9,1988 and November 28, 1988. Mr. Grimsley's responses denied one document in its entirety and portions of another document which were subject to your Freedom of Information Act (F0IA) request for documents concerning the Burroughs Corporation in Warren, New Jersey. These documents are identified on the enclosed appendix.

Acting on your appeal, I have carefully reviewed the record in this case and have determined that some additional information can now be made publicly available. Your appeal is, therefore, partially granted and partially denied.

The document identified at number one on the enclosed appendie: is now being made publicly available by NRC in its entirety since the NRC has been informed that Unisys Corporation does not object to its release. A copy of this document is enclosed, and a copy is being made available to the general public at the NRC's Public Document Room in Washington, D.C.

The name of one individual, whom you represent and who provided a release auth-orization, whose name appears in the document identified at number two of the enclosed appendix is now being made available to you but is not being made available to the general public by the NRC. The remaining names in this document, which were not previously released, wiil continue to be withheld from ursuant to Exemption (6) of the FOIA (5 U.S.C. 552 (b)(6))
