Dear Ms. Lawrence:
This is in response to your May 19, 1989 inquiry regarding whether a specific export license would be required for the export to West Germany of B&W parts for. the control rod drive mechanism manufactured by Diamond Power Specialty Company.
Reactor control rod drive mechanisms, including detection and measuring equipment to determine flux levels [See f 110.8 (a)(7)], can be exported to West Germany in accordance with NRC's General License in 10 CFR 110.26(a).
We are attaching a copy of.10 CFR 110 for your information. Please let us know if you require additional clarification.
