On April 4, 1988, TVA submitted.to.NRC the.BFN upgraded fire protection-F program'which included the BFN Fire Protection Report and its supplement. The program 11sted~52; fire protection < projects, divided into five levels representative'of.the overall importance. Specific dates were established for Level 1 and Level.2 projects based upon restart schedules at the time of the submittal.
Projects in Levels'3 through 5 were listed as "To Be Determined (TBD)" and will be considered for implementation during future outages based upon engineering evaluations and approval by the TVA' Board of Directors.
The purpose of this letter is to clarify the cycle outages when Level l'and Level 2 projects are to.be implemented as opposed to the specific dates given
.in the April 4, 1988, submittal.
Please replace the enclosed pages in your copy of the Fire Protection Report Supplement,Section III, Upgrade Program.
