Security inspection conducted by Mr. G.L. l, during the period of 12-14 December 1988. In response to section 4.b of Mr. Pirtle's report,'the weekly test procedure for'the intrusion system has been the revised. The weekly test will now local alarm panel to alarm. In verify that each door- sensor will cause the University addition one door sensor will be 'used to cause an alarm at Police Station. A different sensor will be used each week to initiate this alarm. This approach is felt to be adequate to ensure the integrity of the time it would minimize the burden to the University system and at the same Police. In response to section 5 of Mr. Pirtle's report, The Physical Security Plan has been revised to include irnmediate notification to ~ the NRC Operations Center, rather than the Region.llt office, it has also been. revised to include reference to the report'ing requirements in 10CFR 73.71 and Appendix G of'10CFR 73.T1. to these items, please If you have any questions regarding our response feel free to contact us at your convenience.
