- 2. Under Section F - Deliveries and Performance, new paragraph F.1.8 is hereby added as follows:
" F .1. 8 The contractor and the NRC Project Officer shall discuss whether the information resulting from this research warrants publication in refereed scientific and engineering journals. Such publication shall focus on advances in science and technology, but not conclusions and/or recommendations which may have regulatory implications. The NRC Project Officer shall make the determination whether the publication of the research results should be pursued. The contractor will be notified by the Contracting Officer (CO) of any requirement to publish research results. Verbal notification by the CO will be confirmed in writing. This provision is required to facilitate the broad dissemination of significant information, and is not intended to control the publication of research supported by NRC."
- 3. Under Section G - Contract Adminitf. ration Data, subsection G.1 Consideration, the total estimated cost and the obligated amount is increased by $70,000.00 from $318,974.00 to $389,974.00. Therefore, ,
subparagraphs 1 and 2 are revised to read as follows:
" Estimated Cost and Oblication
- 1. The presently estimated cost of the work under this contract is
$389,984.00.
- 2. The amount presently obligated by the Government with respect to this contract is $389,974.00."
All other terms and conditions remain the same.
