SUBJECT:
ALLEGATION CONCERNING INDEPENDENCE OF QA/QC FROM PRODUCTION On July 7,1986, an individual calied the resident's of fice with a concern pertaining to the independence of Qa/QC from production.
The individual Nicolson, a Phillios Getschuw Job Saperin[MM were terminated by B stated that he and another QC inspertor, tendent, on July 3, 1986.
The individual stated Mr. Nicolson termiriated them for leaving early, even though he and % were still in the building.
He stated there were approximately 200 people walking toward the gate when Mr. Nicolson approached them for leaving early.
The individual felt that production should not be the organization terminating a QC inspector.
He stated that f-Nicolson would not sign the dismissal slip and stated the reason for terrrination as a
" violation of rules." Mr. Nicolson did not put down " leaving early" as a reason for termination.
The individual further stated that QA (Kranz) and QC (Murphy) management were not on site July 3, 1986.
