SUBJECT:

MODIFICATION OF STATE EMERGENCY RESPONSE SURVEY CONTRACT In a letter dated July 15, 1989, the. contractor for the subject survey

-(NRC-0287-001, FIN No. D1034), Indiana University (IU), requested that the due date for the final report be extended from July 15, 1989 to August 14, 1989.

IU states the reason for the extension is to provide additional time to modify the style and format of the report, as well as to add a narrative sunnary chapter. The contractor also states the report will be accomplished within the existing budget (no cost extension).

.After discussion with the contractor and other parties interested in the survey, we concur in the contractor's request. Please prepare a Request for Procurement Action (RFPA) to initiate the requested contract modification.
