5754 USA /5754/B()F RMG-172 In additicn, NFS requests that the package design be designated as B(U)F in accordance with the provisions of 10CFR Part 71, Section 71.13.
No changes to the design or authorized contents of the tomeettheconditiogsthatthe package are required in order maximum normal operating pressure be less than 100lb/in gauge and that no pressure relief device is utilized which would release radioactive material under the tests specified in Section 71.73.
The certificate already specifies that the contents are limited to uranium metal or compounds which will withstand a temperature of 8000 C without pressure generating decomposition.
As required by 10 CFR Part 170, Section 170.31, we have determined that this request is subject to an application fee of $150 per certificate renewal and that any additional renewal fee will be due upon notification by the Commission in accordance with Section 170.12(d).
