Dear Mr. Kapinos:
This is in response to your letter dated February 20, 1989, to Leland C.
Rouse, Chief, Fuel Cycle Safety Branch, Division of Industrial and Medical Nuclear Safety, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), requesting delay of further review of the Topical Safety Analysis Report for the NuPac CP-9 Concrete Storage Cask, TP-08,'Rev 1 (Docketed under Project No. M-44). In view of the indefinite nature of the delay you propose, NRC staff plans to close our review of the subject report and destroy copies of-information submitted to NRC and claimed to be proprietary. This termination does not prejudice any rewbmittal of this report for review.
